I would be a lot heavier today.

Two weeks ago, I was 5 pounds heavier. Today, I am counting off to a better me.

It was all worth it.

For this issue, waiting is a waste.

I knew many of you would ask, why I haven’t tried walking or chores to save a few centavos? It’s because I am doing that already and for long years I’ve been waiting for the result, I haven’t had any. Also, I wanted to get a higher chance of survival when it comes to walking outside of our house. With all the stray dogs and smoke belchers, would you risk your health and your life knowing that you have a fine market value? *grins*

Having  joined the club and with negative savings, I have hired a personal trainer. I did because of the shallow reason that I wanted to try it for a change because I’ve been working out and I haven’t seen results back then. Sure true, that is a luxury to have one but if you’re the type that gets bored easily and needed a HUGE CONSISTENT/ CONSTANT motivation, it is a great investment. I never have felt the muscle pain like this before, because I was doing it all wrong back then. I was able to finish the routine and made me long for more as the session ended. It hits the right areas. If you’re just consulting some books for you to do it by yourself and if you’re not so bright as me when it comes to buffing, you’re not going to hit the areas where it should. For the past  five sessions, only 1 hour per session, and thrice a week, I felt firmer and I am starting to see results. My package will end tomorrow, as this is a very depressing time because I couldn’t anymore renew it due to some obvious financial reasons.

If  only I could do this in an installment, I would – but my credit card does not do deferred payments; and having to pay it full would costs me huge interests. To swipe for the meantime  is not really a foolish thing to do when you knew you’re investing great for yourself, having to reach the goal you wanted, and knowing that you could yield a greater ROI as soon as it ends.

Oh it’s just me and my foolish ideas.  I’m figuring out how to get myself motivated (which I know, I won’t) without a partner.

Dumaan na ang SARS, pagiging uso ng mga mga flying-out-of-the-country nars, kesho pati pag iimbak ng de lata sa bahay sa pag aakalang end of the world ginawa na natin (Anong use ng de lata kung mamatay ka na rin naman?). Pati ba naman flu, kinakatakutan na ngayon? O siya, o siya, pinaghalu-halong sakit galing sa hayop at mga tao… kaya natawag na AH1N1 (nakabubulol naman ito)… Tawagin na lang natin itong “Ahini”.

So, itong si Ahini na umeeksena sa busy natin buhay ngayon ay deadly… yun eh, kung mahina ang immune system mo. Sa tingin ko, kaya natatakot tayo dito ay dahil guilty tayo sa FACT na hindi natin inaalagaan mga sarili natin. Alam natin ang pagkukulang natin, pagbibigay importansya sa kalusugan.

You got us there, Ahini. Tayo naman na di magka-ugaga, vitamins here, vitamins there, masks here, there and everywhere. Yung mga nakaka-afford ng vaccine, masaya. May mga free bakuna pa nga akong naririnig sa balita nowadays.

Hindi ko alam kung bakit hindi ito masyadong striking sakin… dahil siguro, mas malala parin ang almuranas kaysa pagkakaroon ng Ahini.

Ang Ahini ay parang isang chikinini: nakuha dahil masyadong nagfocus sa sarap at hindi napansing sinisipsip na ang ating lakas mula sa maselan nating kalagayan, naging red alert, pilit na itinatago, pilit na hinahanapan ng lunas kahit hindi effective, ngunit sa susunod na mga araw, magiging maayos din, back to normal… parang walang nangyari, ni walang bakas ng peklat na maiiwan dahil hindi naman talaga ito nagsimula sa isang sugat, kundi sa pagiging iresponsable.
